April 5th is the date - which is Tigers Opening Day, and this didn't elude those planning the meeting. Intentionally the date was set to avoid mass media coverage. We advise everyone present to document what is happening - if your camera or cell phone records video/audio - please do that. Make sure any conversation you have is recorded, and posted online and shared.

PUBLIC NOTICE
The Detroit Department of Transportation has scheduled public hearings for proposed service changes, effective Saturday, April 28, 2012.We'd like to note that the date of these public hearings isn't indicated on the notice... is this a bit odd? Actually these public hearings are a requirement and DDOT would rather just slide these changes in without involving the public. After all, we're told the city has no money.
